Course Description

Intended Audience

The 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (L2AUSSE) has been developed to give aspiring stewards vital knowledge and skills on how they should:

  • Prepare for spectator events
  • Control the entry, exit and movement of spectators at events
  • Monitor crowds and respond to potential crowd problems at spectator events
  • Respond to injuries, illnesses and other emergencies in active leisure and learning.

Conforming to the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (Green Guide) minimum standard requirements, the qualification supersedes the NQF qualification – the Level 2 Certificate in Event and Match Day Stewarding (L2CEMS). The qualification has been redeveloped, considering feedback from the industry, to make it more streamlined

Nationally recognised, this qualification provides learners with the flexibility to work at any type of live stadium events. Learners are required to attended 40 guided learning hours blended learning programme classroom and practical crowd management
