We are an established training company that was established in 2004. We provide exceptional training for both male and female participants.

We have a good relationship with military personnel looking to leave the armed forces.

Our training approach is blended with both theory and practical sessions.

Akona’s approach is based around a good understanding of the client’s and learners needs. Akona can deliver course content through flexible distance and e-learning modules, which provide substantial cost savings over conventional methodologies. We also offer various courses in our Rail Training Centre.

Our Mission

Akona is a training solutions company, specialising in the delivery of bespoke and accredited vocational training packages. We have developed an innovative approach that utilises technology and practical application, combining them with vocational training to ensure learners receive recognised qualifications for their courses.

Our Training

Training products are geared towards Railway Engineering specialising in Overhead Lines Systems, Health and Safety, Learning and Development, Crowd Management and the Security industry. Akona can in all cases provide clients with customised training to suit individual and corporate needs, whilst maintaining the standards required for international and national accreditation.

Our Associations

Akona Limited is a registered apprenticeship provider with the Education Skills Funded Agency (ESFA) and is a preferred supplier with Career Transition Partnership (CTP). We can also assist former and serving members of the armed forces with accessing Enhanced Learning Credit funding for their training with Akona.
