Overview of the Course
This module is designed to familiarise persons who are new to OLE Engineering and whose work may involve or interact with OLE Construction activities.

Course duration 1/2 days
Course content
- Explain the limits of their personal authority
- Give a brief description of the main component parts of the OLE infrastructure
- Describe the main hazards and risks associated with OLE construction sites and activities
- Follow the safe access procedure
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Complete relevant records accurately and pass them on to the appropriate person.
- Follow recording & reporting procedures
COURSE DELIVERY MODEL
Theory sessions shall be classroom based led by an approved trainer and shall include a mix of lecture style presentations, group discussions/exercises together with appropriate question and answer interaction with the delegates to ensure learning is taking place. Theory sessions shall be supported with appropriate multimedia presentations.
Pre-Requisites & Requirements
Must have a valid sponsor and have an in-date drugs and alcohol & medical.
Completion of the course
OLEC 1 will now be uploaded onto the sentinel system.
