olec 3 – Element 3.1 to 3.6 Assessments & Recertifications

Overview of the Course

This course is for anyone who Is looking to gain competencies in the OLEC 3 elements or for anyone who requires a recertification of their current OLEC 3 Elements.

Course loading 8 learners per course


Course duration 1/2 day per element


Course content

  • 3.1  Install Main Steel
  • 3.2 Install Small part steel
  • 3.3 Install Wire
  • 3.4 Install in-span registration of component parts
  • 3.5 Install Earthing and Bonding
  • 3.6 Testing and Gauging

The topics covered on the course are as follows:

  • Direct Observation
  • Product Evidence
  • Written Assignments
  • Oral and Written Questions
  • Professional Discussion

Pre-Requisites & Requirements

Must have an in-date drugs & alcohol and medical and a valid sponsor. Must also have OLEC 2 and OLEC 3 core module on the sentinel system.

Completion of the course

This will now be uploaded onto the Sentinel system. Elements will need to be recertified after 2 years, there is no grace period on the OLEC 3 Elements.
