Overview of the Course
The aim of this course is to provide delegates with the skills and underpinning knowledge required to undertake their duties in line with the associated capability of a Site warden.

Course duration 1/2 day
Course content
- Recall the local health and safety arrangements of the training centre
- Examine the role of a Site Warden
- Examine the safety responsibilities of a site warden on site
- Analyse the role of a site warden in a scenario
COURSE DELIVERY MODEL
Classroom, PowerPoint presentation and practical sessions.
Pre-Requisites & Requirements
- Candidates must be a minimum age of 18 and meet the medical requirements of Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements to minimum medical level 3 (must be eligible to work alone – cannot attend if they must be accompanied) and Network Rail Standard NR/L1/OHS/051 (Drugs & Alcohol)
- Must have PTS on sentinel
- Must not be in learning support or have red triangle on card
Completion of the course
On successful completion of this course, the sentinel system will be updated with the site warden competency.
